Actalent's client is seeking a Project Coordinatorto join their team. Working alongside the Engineering Design and Construction department, you will work with a team of project managers to provide statistical performance reporting and administrative support. You have experience in performance management, which includes but not limit to review, evaluate and recommend improvement and standardization of business processes and ensures effective utilization of systems while maintaining internal controls.Other responsibilities include:
  • Maintain and prepare project documentations, including monthly project report, risk register, and meeting minutes.
  • Support the project managers by gathering financial data and develop financial review report on regular basis.
  • Leads report development based on needs of users. Fulfills external reporting requirements and financial statements.
  • Performs data gathering and analysis for the function to facilitate divisional project tracking, procurement tracking, and resource planning.
  • May be required to provide input into the development and submission of the annual operating budget and capital planning requirements; monitor expenditures, identify variances from approved budgets, generate financial impact summary reports and recommend corrective action.
  • May coordinate with the Project Team members for the collection of data, evaluate and assess the overall cost impact of any changes on engineering, procurement and construction and report the conclusions the appropriate Managers.
Requirements:
  • Technical college diploma or university graduation at the Bachelor's level in computer sciences, business or engineering plus sound related experience in business systems analysis, or, an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Considerable knowledge of problem definition and analysis related to business processes and systems planning.
  • Considerable knowledge of the principles and practices of administrative management, quality management and project management.
  • Considerable knowledge of information technology components, processes and developments.
  • Considerable knowledge of the functions of departments served and their requirements in information technology.
  • Ability to document, analyze and assess a variety of information, identify priorities and resources and propose alternative business processes. Experience in business process mapping.
  • Ability to act as project manager regarding the development and implementation of systems.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of internal contacts and to provide advice and assistance on matters related to the work.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing and to present proposals in non-technical language.
  • Ability to perform assigned duties under minimum supervision.
  • Strong computer skills and firsthand experience working with project management systems
