- Plans and oversees the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects of low to moderate complexity, risk, and exposure.
- Collaborates with clients and Project Manager to define project scope, deliverables, and requirements.
- Develops and implements project plans and schedules using modern project management tools.
- Oversees project deliverables by suppliers and subcontractors and administers payments for goods and services.
- Determines resource and budget requirements, cost estimates, and timelines.
- Monitors project delivery against timelines and ensures timely completion.
- Oversees the activities of project team members and monitors task completion.
- Communicates project status to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and comply with all regulatory, environmental, and health and safety requirements.
- Develops and maintains effective relationships with clients.
- Resolves issues, manages client expectations, and ensures client satisfaction.
- Education: Recent graduate with a degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering preferred) or a closely related field. A Project Management Professional designation would be considered an asset but is not mandatory.
- Skilled in AI tools relevant to construction and project management.
- Competent in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Asana, Trello, eSub).
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn new applications.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on-time, on-budget, and within specifications.
- Experience or coursework in project budgeting and risk management.
- Strong communication, influence, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
- Client-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a desire to incorporate best practices and emerging technologies.
