An excellent opportunity exists with a leading Architecture and Design that is hiring for an experienced Intermediate Architectural Technologist to join their busy and collaborative team in Edmonton, Alberta. This company is well established and have a lot of projects across a variety of sectors including multi-family, public and commercial work.THE JOB
The ideal applicant will have excellent communication skills and work with team members throughout all processes of the project phases. You will be working with clients and design teams to discuss project plans, designs, schedules and proposals, and work according to these to produce high quality working drawing packages, construction documents, details and blueprints. You will use your experience to pier review the work of junior staff in the office, and do mark ups and changes to ensure projects are finished accurately and in a timely manner.WHAT'S REQUIRED
The ideal candidate will have the following credentials;
- Architectural Technology Diploma/Certification or relevant architecture degree from within North America
- 2+ years' experience as an Architectural Technologist in North America
- Experience working with Revit is essential
- Experience working with other software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office is an asset
- Some experience going to site or doing contract administration tasks is desirable
- Excellent communication skills, team player
- Experience working on a variety of project types such as commercial, public, large multi-family or large, complex work. Single family residential work on its own will not suffice.
- Possess a portfolio of work to show in an interview.
