You’ll have a wide range of opportunities to grow and develop your career in an inclusive environment where you’ll feel valued and supported to be your best - both personally and professionally.Team Manager Corporate Communications and InitiativesHow You’ll Make an Impact:Position OverviewReporting to the Manager, Corporate Communications and Community Affairs, the Team Manager, Corporate Communications and Initiatives, is responsible for driving internal communications, employee engagement programming, channel management for Fidelity Canada and planning Corporate Affairs initiatives.This role will lead a team responsible for the day-to-day management and continuous improvement Fidelity Canada’s intranet (inSite), core employee and external facing programs (including The Week Ahead, Volunteerism and Voice of the Employee), and major internal campaigns, events and initiatives.The Team Manager, Corporate Communications and Initiatives, will plan and deliver high-impact internal communications, program and grow flagship employee platforms, help strengthen Fidelity Canada’s culture and employee experience, and help execute against the Corporate Affairs business plan and capitalize on new opportunities.The role will also serve as deputy to the Manager, Corporate Communications and Community Affairs, in planning and executing communication strategies, including change management communications for initiatives such as the Toronto office relocation.This role requires strong people leadership, editorial judgement, comfort working with senior leaders, and the ability to manage multiple projects with tight timelines in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage inSite (Fidelity Canada’s intranet) content strategy, governance and daily operations. Daily coordination and posting of content; homepage programming and calendar; managing the inSite Admin Inbox; coaching content contributors; ensuring accuracy, timeliness and alignment to business needs; creating surveys and reporting on analytics. Provide day-to-day direction to the inSite team and support their development.
  • Own The Week Ahead program (Fidelity Canada’s weekly, enterprise-wide meeting). Plan, produce and continuously improve The Week Ahead, including programming, run-of-show, speaker preparation, guest sourcing, logistics and technical production. Drive attendance and position The Week Ahead as Fidelity Canada’s must-attend weekly connection point.
  • Lead Fidelity Canada’s Volunteerism program. Own the Volunteerism strategy and calendar, including planning events/opportunities, partnering with HR/Community Affairs and business leaders, promoting participation, and telling the story of Fidelity Canada’s community impact.
  • Lead the Voice of the Employee (VoE) program and support the onboarding / rollout of Medallia. Support the relaunch of VoE, including awareness, messaging, education and adoption. Help introduce Medallia as a listening tool, drive employee understanding of how their input is used, and promote trust in the process. Provide reporting and insights to leaders.
  • Support Corporate Affairs initiatives in the 2026-2028 Business Plan and ad hoc initiatives through end-to-end project management, with a focus on integrating internal and external communications and aligning with stakeholders across Fidelity Canada.
What We Are Looking For:Experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in producing live/virtual employee program (The Week Ahead, podcasts, etc.) and experience in writing and editing executive and enterprise-wide communications.
  • 1-2 years experience in managing or directly supervising people and/or leading a small team or function,
The following would be considered as an asset:
  • Experience with intranet governance, internal content management systems and analytics.
  • Experience with employee listening programs, surveys or feedback tools.
  • Experience supporting culture, recognition, CSR/volunteerism or employer brand initiatives.
Education
  • University degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong written and editing capability demonstrated through prior roles.
  • Professional development or certification in communications, employee engagement, change management or project management would be considered as an asset.
Designations, Licenses, or Accreditations
  • Membership in a relevant professional association (e.g., IABC,CPRS) would be considered as an asset.

  • Base Salary and Discretionary Performance Bonus: A competitive annual range of $110,000 to $129,000, based on your experience and qualifications.
