● Harvest crops
● Detect disease and health problems in crops
● Examine crops for quality and prepare for market
● Set and monitor water lines, airflow and temperature in growing and storage building
● Write daily basic progress reports
● Prepare seed for growing
● Operate and maintain farm machinery, equipment and crop buildings ● Clean crops growing and storage buildings
● Clean equipment needed for growing, harvesting and packaging
● Other duties as assigned by managementRequirements-Education: Not Required.-Experience: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided.-Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work underpressure, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding,Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Combination of sitting, standing, walking,Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling.-Personal suitability: Organized, Flexibility, Team player, Reliability.-Work site environment: Outdoors, Wet/damp, Dusty, Hot, Cold/refrigerated.-Weight handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)-Work involves to function under repetitive movement of certain parts of the palms, fingers,wrist, hand, lower arm, upper arm, shoulder and back movements for prolonged periods.
