  • Serve as first point of contact for customers regarding their orders
  • Provide guidance and technical assistance/knowledge to customers
  • Enter all sales orders received either manually or through EDI import process
  • Validate pricing
  • Thoroughly check all orders against customer purchase orders. Cross-check other team members’ orders
  • Send order confirmations and obtain customer approvals for orders as necessary
  • Release approved orders into production
  • Enter changes to update orders as necessary
  • Validate and enter replacement and warranty orders
  • Identify, investigate, and escalate any pricing discrepancies
  • Convert Sales orders to Purchase orders when material is being sourced externally
  • Process/enter and manage Sample order requests until picked up or shipped
  • Calculate and provide ad-hoc pricing for non-project or replacement orders
  • Source and distribute pattern drawings as required by plant
  • Review past due orders and follow up with scheduling/production team
  • Escalate and follow-up rush order and special requests
  • Prepare documentation for credit note requests as applicable
  • Assist in Inventory – enter tag information
  • Other duties as assigned
INTERNAL/ EXTERNAL CUSTOMER SERVICE
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with Toro internal departments, external vendors, and Toro Aluminum stakeholders
  • Being proactive in identifying issues and helping to address these to best serve the needs of customers
ADMINISTRATOR
  • Provide full back up to Receptionist during absences
  • Greetings and log in visitors
  • Answer main phone lines and transfer calls
  • Process receiving and shipping documents
  • Prepare and accept courier shipments
  • Process purchases orders for plant supplies/materials
