- Business Strategy and Planning:
- Develop a comprehensive business development strategy and plan
- Define target client segments, prioritize opportunities, and set clear objectives for revenue growth and market penetration.
- Develop and manage a strong pipeline to ensure 3-4x quota target coverage
- Client Relationship Management:
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and clients in target industries
- Develop a positive profile for TELUS through networking, attending and participating in trade shows and conferences, public speaking, and other sources
- Prepare and present comprehensive and compelling business presentations to various internal and external constituencies including senior client executives
- Understand clients' needs, challenges, and pain points to tailor solutions that address their specific requirements
- Sales and Lead Generation:
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through proactive lead generation, networking, and attending industry events
- Collaborate with internal resources to create compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches that highlight the value of our services
- Collaboration and Cross-functional Coordination:
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, operations, finance and medical professionals, to ensure seamless execution and delivery of services
- Provide valuable insights from the field to help refine service offerings and strategies
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, preferably in the healthcare or corporate wellness industry
- Strong understanding of occupational health, employee well-being, and executive health programs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients and internal teams
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding revenue targets
- Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant business tools
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events¸
- Bilingual English and French, an asset
