Job Title: Procurement Specialist (Hybrid)Location: Calgary, AB / Corunna, ON / Red Deer, ABOur client is seeking a Procurement Specialist (Hybrid) to join their team. As a Procurement Specialist (Hybrid), you will be part of the procurement department supporting strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking, and collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Description:

Support the development of enterprise-wide category strategies to achieve cost savings and value generation.
Lead negotiations and contracting for strategic procurement of materials and services.
Develop competitive bid documents in collaboration with business and content experts.
Oversee all spend activity and purchase requests within assigned categories, ensuring proper procurement procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute strategic sourcing projects and supplier relationship management initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business Management, or related field with 5+ years of experience or 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
Experience in procurement within manufacturing or construction environments, handling categories such as MRO, Capital Equipment, or Professional Services.
Professional designation such as Certified Purchasing Manager, PMP, or CSCMP is preferred.
Proficiency with SAP-ARIBA ERP system, e-sourcing tools, and advanced MS Excel skills.
Strong negotiation, contract management, and stakeholder relationship skills.
