- Analyze client business needs and processes, ensuring that project work aligns with organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand their requirements regarding securities financing activities (debt and equity), collateral management, and position management.
- Draft and present business deliverables to stakeholders (Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Finance, Legal, Compliance, etc.) in a clear and concise manner. These deliverables include: the Target Operating Model, business requirements and associated use cases, operational procedures, identification of impacted processes, implementation strategy, and traceability matrices.
- Document the lifecycle of securities financing activities (e.g., Bond/Securities Lending/Borrowing, Global Repo Market, Collateral Management).
- Ensure alignment and integration with the existing ecosystem and IT architecture.
- Develop validation strategies and maintain unit tests. - Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to enhancing solutions and the overall ecosystem.
- Identify opportunities to optimize work methods and processes, and document these improvements.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree.
- Certifications and training in Business Analysis.
- Mastery of the Business Analyst role and its associated deliverables. (Not to be confused with the role of Functional Analyst or Application Advisor).
- 5 years of prior experience in Business Analysis within the context of business solution delivery projects in the Capital Markets sector, specifically covering Inventory Financing and Fixed Income business domains.
- Experience managing end-to-end business solutions, including trading platforms, position and inventory management, valuation, settlement, accounting, and risk management.
- Strong understanding of—and ability to build effective relationships with—IT and Agile teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong work ethic, autonomy, and a rigorous approach to learning.
- Ability to communicate effectively with executive stakeholders, ensuring clear visibility regarding issues, decisions, and progress.
- Proactive approach: systematically preparing a game plan and a structured agenda for every meeting.
- Ability to steer business discussions and guide exchanges toward concrete decisions.
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
