Candidates will be joining a collaborative, forward-thinking organization where their expertise and leadership will make a lasting impact.Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Category Manager - Undercarriage & Ground Engaging Products, you will lead the strategic direction, growth, and performance of a specialized product category with high market demand. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Strategic Category Management:
o Develop and execute comprehensive Annual Business Plans to meet aggressive sales and margin growth goals.
o Conduct detailed analysis of sales data and market trends to identify areas for growth and improvement.
  • Product Expertise & Support:
o Serve as the primary internal expert on undercarriage and ground engaging tools, delivering insights and recommendations.
o Guide and support internal teams including Regional Customer Support Managers (RCSMs), Customer Support Advisors (CSAs), and Parts Managers.
  • Training & Enablement:
o Lead coaching initiatives and provide product-specific training to CSAs, Parts, and Service Managers.
o Equip front-line teams with the knowledge to drive product sales and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Vendor & Market Development:
o Cultivate and manage strong vendor relationships; identify and onboard new vendors to expand offerings.
o Conduct ongoing competitive research and market intelligence to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Product Lifecycle & Promotion:
o Identify, introduce, and support new product launches with strategic stocking and promotion plans.
o Actively champion both new and used parts sales initiatives to meet customer needs and maximize value.
  • Data & Systems Improvement:
o Support the creation and enhancement of a comprehensive, accurate parts database to streamline operations.QualificationsTo succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:
  • Education & Experience:
o A post-secondary education in business, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
o Significant experience in parts product management and sales, ideally in undercarriage or ground-engaging products.
  • Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in analyzing sales, margin, and market data to drive business decisions.
o Familiarity with parts databases, inventory systems, and related operational tools.
  • Key Competencies:
o Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
o Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
o Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
