Shift: Afternoons and Nights available.*Must be willing to train on daysJob Summary:
Bend Cell Set-Up is responsible for programming and setting up machinery according to customer specifications and maintaining machines in a skilled and detailed manner.Key Responsibilities:
- Operate assigned machinery according to specifications
- Work closely with Bend Cell operators to maintain production and quality requirements.
- Troubleshooting production equipment for calibration, machine malfunctions and optimization.
- Inspect parts using check fixtures
- Program machines and make Program Modifications
- Perform tool changes on machines
- Complete check sheets and scrap logs
- Report issues to the Set-Up Operator
- Perform other duties as required
- Strong written and verbal communication in English
- Mechanically inclined, with prior machine operation experience preferred
- Good math skills, including correct use of measurement tools
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Good time management and attention to detail
- Strong manual dexterity
- Minimum of some high school education or equivalent
- Min 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred
- Potential for full-time permanent employment
