- Assist with full cycle accounting, including journal entries, GL reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
- Prepare accurate weekly and monthly financial reports for management.
- Help develop, optimize, and document accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Provide coverage in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable as needed.
- Participate in ERP system implementation and ongoing process improvements.
- Support the year-end close and annual review process across our group of companies.
- Pitch in on a variety of critical projects and tasks, as assigned by the Director, Finance & Administration.
- Post-secondary degree in accounting or related field.
- Progress toward a CPA designation is required.
- At least 3 years of recent accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on with ERP systems (implementation experience is a plus).
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and able to work well with teams across functions.
