I am looking to hire a companion for my mother. She is 88 and overall in fairly good health. She is living in the care unit of a residence in Greenfield Park because she can no longer live alone. She does not have cognitive challenges, just the usual forgetfulness of aging. She has diabetes and her kidneys are weak. She is not a candidate for dialysis at this point. Also, she has some declining function of the heart. She does use a walker and would need some assistance with bathing and some times dressing... she can be very independent! The residence does provide everything except for the one thing that she is asking for most... the ability to get out of the care unit during the day and be around the others.
