Yes, this is an existing open position.Compensation: CAD $74772-98892/Yr.Under the direction of the Director of Marketing, the Database Specialist is responsible to develop, review and interpret data analyses and KPI’s to focus marketing spends and targets to yield optimum ROI. They also lead the development and execution of all direct mail and email marketing promotional campaigns and special events.
- Responsible for all Marketing analyses and KPI's, must be able to interpret data and provide reporting for actionable insights.
- Maintains and updates existing reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Subject matter expert for Bally’s CMP Campaign, EBS, BI and Tableau
- Utilizes Structured Query Language (SQL), data warehouses, relational databases, and multi-dimensional databases in analyzing various data sources (in-house databases, data warehouse, other third-party data sources, etc.) to develop queries and procedures for extracting and communicating required information.
- Develops pro forma and post forma analyses for events and campaigns.
- Makes recommendations for segmentation of offers of new promotions and also optimization of existing promotions with the goal of producing incremental profits.
- Reviews promotion activity and membership trends to recommend changes in marketing programs as required.
- SQL experience is required.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, with expert skills in Excel
- Business degree or diploma in Business, Advertising, Marketing and/or a combination of education and work experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in data management.
- Previous experience in resort casino strongly preferred.
- Experience in database structures and creating queries.
- Knowledge of Bally’s-Casino Marketplace and Tableau Data Visualization a plus.
- Must have experience in customer relationship management (CRM).
- The ability to obtain registration as a Category 1 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario
- A clear and concise communicator with the ability to communicate stories and insights from large amounts of data.
- Able to demonstrate good business acumen.
- Flexible to changing business needs.
- Ability to create queries is required
- Superior organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze raw data to find trends, anomalies and profitable opportunities.

- The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
