- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, including RFx processes, negotiations, and contracting to optimize total cost of ownership and maximize value
- Manage high-spend categories and vendor relationships, including performance reviews, audits, and corrective action plans
- Analyze bids, quotes, and proposals to provide recommendations aligned with business goals and stakeholder needs
- Partner with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and Legal to ensure contracts are comprehensive, compliant, and mitigate risk
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supplier performance enhancements
- Monitor market trends and supplier capabilities to inform sourcing strategies and risk mitigation plans
- Support and enforce procurement policies, vendor management best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and benchmarking activities for key spend categories
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a procurement certification (CIPS, ISM, or EIPM) is considered an asset
- Five or more years of experience in IT & Corporate sourcing, procurement, or supply chain, including negotiations, vendor management, and contract management
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to lead complex sourcing initiatives across multiple commodities and regions (Canada & U.S.)
- Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to understand business needs and deliver sourcing solutions
- In-depth knowledge of IT & Corporate categories, with a focus on driving value and results
- Demonstrated change management capability and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- This is a full-time, temporary position for a period of 13 months based out of our Calgary Corporate Office
- The hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
