
Plant Manager – Red Bull

- Contribute to the creation and implementation of a best practice manufacturing vision, strategy, processes and procedures to drive operational performance.
- Drive and adhere to health, safety and environmental working practices in accordance with Red Bull policies and procedures and legal compliance requirements.
- Lead by example providing strong and effective leadership in managing plant operations and setting the highest standards in terms of H&S, production, quality, reliability and maintenance and people performance
- Manage the overall operational activity of the site and take direct responsibility for site wide issues
- Set department objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports ensuring that everyone on site understands the standards and behaviours expected of them
- Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
- Interface with outside stakeholder, such as the municipality and regulators a trusting relationship with workforce and recruit, manage and develop plant staff
- Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets
- Ensure high levels of customer service through delivery of production targets and quality standards

- Develop a longer-term vision for the plant to ensure it meets its full long-term potential
- Degree qualified; ideally in food science, engineering or business administration
- +7 years senior production management experience in a world class manufacturing environment
- Exceptional Health & Safety awareness
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
- Proven experience in plant management or similar leadership role within food/beverage industry is crucial
- Ability to produce, analyse and review detailed numerical data and make clear, sound decisions.
- Allocate resources effectively and make full use of assets to achieve optimal results
- Working knowledge of lean manufacturing tools and techniques; Green/Black Belt Six Sigma is desirable.
- Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise, also with Canadian labor laws, health & safety regulations
- Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity and processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills on all levels
- Strong critical decision-making, ability to work with different stakeholder
- Ability to work under pressure and within deadlines
- Ability to travel internationally - Onboarding/Training Plan will involve travel to Austria for a 3 to 4 month timeline (this period will be supported with regular 'return home visits' to ensure the successful candidate has consistent time at home)
