Responsibilities
- Actively assist Producers by providing project management support in development, pre-pro, post-pro through to delivery.
- Actively produce and project manage through development, pre-pro, post-pro and delivery.
- Engage production vendors, honour existing relationships and bring your own roster of trusted production professionals to collaborate on client work.
- Responsible for the flawless execution of all assigned tasks and projects to completion.
- Assist with production estimates and input into budgets.
- Build production estimates and input into budgets.
- Track hard costs and variances against each projects budget including communication between internal finance and external vendors.
- Build production schedules and oversee key deadlines in prep, production and post-production including final delivery.
- Manage, share and file assets at each step of the post production process including final delivery.
- Obtain internal approvals as required throughout the creative and production process.
- Present work for team and client approval at all appropriate stages of creative and production.
- Support the Notch team in various administrative tasks.
- Manage and execute administrative tasks.
- Actively participate in client meetings, brainstorms and presentations.
- Help determine and implement organizational best practices.
- Identify client issues and raise awareness with senior managers.
- University degree in Broadcast Journalism, Business, Film, Advertising, Communications, Marketing, or other relevant discipline an asset.
- Ideally you have 3-5 years of experience in television, video and/or film production.
- You stay current with social media and cultural trends, progressive production processes and technology and are always learning.
- You have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with heavy workloads and short deadlines.
- You bring demonstrated organizational and project management skills along with the ability to think and communicate strategically.
- You bring experience in assisting in the development of program content, including researching, writing and editing.
- You have a working knowledge of leading edge online, video, film and broadcasting technology.
- Experience working with multiple sources of content.
- Ability to assess, work and deliver on client needs.
- An excellent communicator, you pride yourself on your ability to be a team player and manage multiple projects.
