- Partner with Learning & Development (L&D) to design and implement comprehensive leadership development programming and initiatives that elevate current and future leaders across the organization, respond to business and environmental shifts, and make use of diverse learning formats.
- Establish programming to ensure new to role leaders and those transitioning to increased responsibilities are supported through peer networks, mentorship or buddy systems.
- Integrate leadership coaching with infrastructure for onboarding, matching, quality assurance, and measurement of coaching impact.
- Collaborate with leaders and HR to enable enterprise-wide talent reviews, calibration and succession planning processes that identify high-potential employees, talent for critical roles and create tailored development plans strengthening our talent and leadership pipeline.
- Implement career development initiatives that promote visibility into career opportunities, internal mobility and support employees in achieving their career goals.
- Create opportunities for mentorship and coaching to support employee growth and development.
- Enhance performance processes to support effective goal/objective setting and clarity on performance expectations.
- Develop leader capability and resources to engage in meaningful performance and development conversations that are strengths-based, growth-oriented and encourage a learning and feedback culture.
- Partner with counterparts in Total Rewards to ensure performance metrics and processes are aligned with compensation and career progression frameworks.
- Establish recognition programming that complements and encourages a performance culture and aligns with values-based behaviours.
- Integrate DEIR principles into all leadership and talent development programs to create equitable access to opportunities and support a diverse workforce.
- Identify and address barriers to leadership and career progression for underrepresented groups within the organization.
- Collaborate with the DEIR team and other People & Culture functions to align leadership and talent development strategies with broader organizational diversity goals.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Leadership, HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in leadership and talent development roles, with demonstrated expertise in creating managing development programs.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing successful talent management strategies and programs across the employee lifecycle
- Deep understanding of performance management and talent and succession planning best practices
- Experience managing coaching programs and working with internal and external coaches; coaching certification (e.g., ICF) is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of HRIS and talent management technologies
- You have excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights
- Experience collaborating with L&D, HR Business Partners, Total Rewards and Talent Acquisition functions to drive integrated people strategies.
- You have the ability to build strong relationships and partner effectively with all levels of the organization
- You have the ability to see the big picture, translate it into tactical plans, and operationalize with excellence
