Ciena is seeking an Industry Vertical Marketing Manager to position us as a thought leader and trusted partner across key verticals like Cable MSO, Education, Energy, and Government. If you're ready to shape the future of network evolution and make a tangible impact, this is your opportunity to shine.How You Will Contribute:Develop and execute marketing strategies tailored to industry verticals, collaborating with Field Marketing, Sales, and Partner teams.Translate market intelligence into actionable insights for Sales, Portfolio Marketing, and Strategy teams.Craft compelling messaging for media, analysts, and global awareness programs that drive thought leadership and lead generation.Build value propositions and showcase technical benefits to vertical customers and partners worldwide.Identify emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities to position Ciena ahead of competitors.Represent Ciena at vertical tradeshows, industry forums, and analyst events, driving marketing strategy and engagement.Collaborate across teams to create digital content that resonates with target audiences.The Must Haves:Deep knowledge of routing, switching, and optical technologies and markets.Exceptional executive-level presentation and communication skills.Proven ability to craft and edit high-impact content, including blogs, white papers, case studies, and presentations.A track record of working collaboratively in team-oriented environments.The Assets:Experience in enterprise verticals like healthcare, manufacturing, retail, or transportation.Expertise in channel sales, partner engagement, and sales enablement.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive initiatives to completion.Innovative thinker who proposes solutions to complex marketing challenges.Flexibility to travel for customer meetings and industry events as needed.Pay Range:The salary range for this role in Canada is $96, 300 - $153, 800Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business. Please note that the pay range information provided in this posting pertains specifically to the primary location, which is the top location listed in case multiple locations are available.Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
