This role is suited for an experienced project management professional with a proven track record of delivering medium to large-scale projects within the energy sector, operating in a multidisciplinary EPC/EPCM environment.The Senior Project Manager is accountable for the overall delivery of projects, including scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety performance. This role provides leadership across engineering, procurement, and construction functions, ensuring projects are executed in alignment with Worley’s standards and client expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Project Manager leads the successful execution of projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring alignment with strategic, operational, and client objectives.Project Leadership & ExecutionLead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects across all phases (FEED through detailed design, procurement, construction, and commissioning).Establish and manage project scope, objectives, and execution strategies.Accountable for project performance including schedule, cost, quality, and safety outcomes.Provide leadership and direction to multidisciplinary project teams, including engineering, project controls, procurement, and construction.Ensure project deliverables are completed in accordance with contractual requirements and Worley standards.Commercial & Financial ManagementDevelop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.Monitor and control project costs, ensuring alignment with approved budgets.Lead contract administration, including managing client relationships, variations, claims, and commercial risks.Ensure accurate project reporting, including earned value, forecasting, and financial metrics.Project Controls & ReportingOversee project controls functions, including scheduling, cost control, and progress measurement.Ensure robust reporting of project status, risks, and key performance indicators.Drive proactive decision-making through accurate and timely project data.Risk & Change ManagementIdentify, assess, and manage project risks and opportunities.Lead the implementation of mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes.Oversee management of change (MOC) processes, ensuring all changes are properly evaluated, approved, and documented.Stakeholder & Client ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring strong, professional relationships.Lead stakeholder engagement across internal teams, clients, and external partners.Facilitate effective communication and alignment across all project participants.Manage expectations and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.Technical & Multidisciplinary IntegrationEnsure effective coordination and integration across all engineering disciplines.Provide oversight on technical deliverables to ensure alignment with project requirements, codes, and standards.Support resolution of complex technical issues in collaboration with discipline leads.Safety & Quality LeadershipChampion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with Worley’s health, safety, and sustainability policies.Ensure implementation of quality assurance and quality control processes across all project phases.Drive continuous improvement and capture lessons learned.QualificationsQualifications – What You Will BringTechnical and Industry ExperienceExtensive experience delivering engineering projects within oil & gas, energy, or related sectors.Proven experience managing medium to large-scale projects in EPC/EPCM environments.Strong understanding of full project lifecycle (FEED through execution and closeout).Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.Advanced knowledge of project controls, including scheduling, cost control, and forecasting.Strong commercial acumen, including contract management and client engagement.Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in complex environments.Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, TrainingBachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized institution.Registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with APEGA or equivalent.Extensive and relevant experience in engineering and project management roles.Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is considered an asset.For applicants based in the province of British Columbia, the salary range is $166,876 - $225,774.Application of the pay band: Variation in salary is determined by factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.Moving forward togetherWe’re committed to building a diverse, inclusive and respectful workplace where everyone feels they belong, can bring themselves, and are heard.
