- Reporting to the Trade Marketing Manager, the Brand Activity Manager is responsible for the development and execution of BTL activities such as POS, promotions, events, and sponsorships on all brands (including partners) to ensure objectives are achieved
- Work collaboratively with National Brand Managers (NBM), internal departments, agencies and suppliers to ensure flawless execution
- Oversee the planning and execution of marquee brand events and experiential activations for key brands including Okanagan Spring, Sapporo and Sleeman – ensuring best -in-class brand representation and flawless on-site execution
- Execute activity within allocated budgets
- Track industry trends, competitive activity and actively monitor brand performances through continuous trade presence.
- Populate and maintain BTL information
- Update the TMM on programming changes in order to ensure activity is accurately captured in the demand planning
- Maintain compliance with Canadian advertising law, standards, and liquor board regulations
- Recommend and implement continuous improvement and MUDA reduction practices
- Participate in special projects as required
- Evaluate marketing activity performance and effectiveness
- Post-secondary education in Marketing or related business field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing or trade marketing
- Experience in a consumer-packaged goods environment (CPG) considered an asset
- Experience executing brand events, sponsorship activations, or experiential marketing programs considered a strong asset
- Excellent project management, and organization skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively on multiple teams
- Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Travel required approximately 10% of the time
- Hybrid work environment - in office expectation 2 days per week
- Occasional overtime required outside normal business hours
