Working here is fast-paced, non-stop, and a little unpredictable—and we love it.Your area of focus.As an Production Assistant, you will support daily operations in a collision repair facility by coordinating workflow, assisting technicians, maintaining organization, and ensuring timely vehicle repairs. This role is key to improving efficiency, communication, and overall shop productivity.What drives your day-to-day?
- Assist in managing the flow of vehicles through the repair process (intake → repair → delivery) Coordinate with technicians, estimators, and parts staff to ensure timely repairs
- Track repair progress and update status in management systems
- Prepare and move vehicles within the shop and lot as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production floor
- Assist with parts receiving, labeling, and organization Communicate repair updates to team members and management
- Help ensure quality control checks are completed before vehicle delivery
- Support scheduling and workflow prioritization
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Provide exceptional customer service to our valued clients
- Demonstrate and champion a healthy and safe working environment
- High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in an auto body shop or automotive environment (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and repair processes (asset)
- Ability to operate manual and automatic vehicles Skills & Competencies Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail and time management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Highly skilled in standard office software (MS Office, SharePoint, etc.)
- Basic computer skills (repair management software is an asset)
