
Bilingual Implementation Project Manager, Group Retirement Services

- Define quality business solutions, using standard offerings and service capabilities
- Manage all phases of assigned projects from initiation to closure, applying Project Management best practices e.g. planning, scheduling, and risk management
- Define plan structures and map all client requirements
- Create and maintain project plans and timelines that clearly outline task assignments/ownership, deliverables and targets allowing for coordinated execution and control
- Proactively manage project changes, risks, issues and actions
- Manage client, Advisor and Consultant relationships to ensure project delivery expectations are specified and met
- Communicate project updates regularly and effectively to ensure all internal and external stakeholders are kept up-to-date (meetings, status updates, etc.)
- Work with multi-site project teams
- Utilize strong leadership, influencing and facilitation skills to coordinate and drive projects to successful completion
- Represent Implementation at finalist presentations
- Sound knowledge of project management techniques, tools and methodologies
- Proven experience leading and managing projects
- Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize a wide range of tasks over multiple projects
- Solid understanding of Group Retirement Services and administrative practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proven ability to develop and nurture relationships, both internal and external
- Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada and worldwide.and the position reports to a unilingual English-speaking manager outside Quebec
- PMP certification or equivalent
- Previous experience in Group Retirement Services Operations and/or Sales & Service environment
- Ability to manage a flexible work schedule
- Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines
- Ability to travel, if needed (must have access to a car)
