The Department of Psychiatry is part of the Garry Hurvitz Brain Sciences Program, fostering collaboration across neuroscience, rehabilitation and behavioural health, creating unique opportunities to transform understanding and treatment of the mind and brain.We educate 5,000+ trainees annually, host world-class research and innovation through the Sunnybrook Research Institute, and touch the lives of over 1.1 million patients each year. This is a place where innovation meets impact, and where your leadership will leave a lasting legacy.The Chief will provide visionary leadership to 50+ full-time faculty members across three formal divisions: Youth, Adult, and Geriatric Psychiatry. However, our faculty practices across the breadth of psychiatry, including mood Disorders, OCD, Consultation-Liaison for cancer care, trauma and Women and Babies programs, and Veteran's mental health. Integration into Sunnybrook's academic health sciences environment offers unique opportunities in clinical care and program development and shaping interdisciplinary programs across the hospital. Key areas of academic focus include suicide prevention and, mood and anxiety disorders. We are one of the largest provider for rTMS treatments in the province.We are seeking a visionary leader who will:
