- Ensuring that applicable processes and standards are known and applied by engineering teams
- Supporting engineering audits and inspections to check adherence to processes and standards
- Challenging engineering strategies and reviewing Engineering Management Plans
- Ensuring deployment of Critical Item Assessment (CIA) or Critical Technical Topic (CTT) activities
- Managing and resolving engineering quality issues, including design reviews and DFMEA activities
- Leading improvements related to Return of Experience (REX) to enhance engineering standards and processes
- Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent
- 5 to 10 years of experience in managing quality tools and problem-solving methodologies
- Knowledge of the railway industry, including norms and certifications, would be an asset
- Experience in team management
- Proficiency in risk analysis tools (e.g., DFMEA) and quality methodologies (e.g., QRQC, PDCA, 8D methodology)
- Strong ability to perform audits and inspections
- Excellent team-working skills in complex organizational environments
- Technical understanding of railway products
