- A centrally located office in the heart of downtown Edmonton that is easily accessible.
- Leading the structural team in analysis, design, evaluation and preparation of calculations and drawings.
- Preparing technical reports following technical analysis, modelling, and design calculations.
- Preparing proposals, bid and contract documentation.
- Monitoring, controlling and reporting project status internally and externally.
- Aiding in financial arrangements for projects including fee forecasting, preparation, and allocation.
- Providing guidance, including mentoring, and instruction, to junior staff.
- Undergraduate degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university; post-graduate degree in Structural Engineering is an asset.
- Registered as a Professional Engineer with APEGA.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in bridge engineering within the consulting industry.
- Superior planning and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Committed team player and highly self-motivated.
- Related experience with Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors is an asset.
- This position will require occasional travel.
- Valid driver’s licence.
