
Senior Specialist, Organizational Development

- Design, coordinate, and implement firm-wide talent management programs, organizational development projects, and interventions that align with BDO’s strategic priorities.
- Partner with HR Leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure programs are tailored to meet the evolving needs of different service lines and regions.
- Maintain and update competency and skill matrices, ensuring they remain current and relevant to evolving business and market demands.
- Administer and coordinate employee engagement surveys and supporting activities (e.g., scheduling, facilitating reviews and testing, communications, etc.).
- Identify and assess the potential people impacts of organizational changes, from new program launches to process and system changes.
- Contribute to the development of program strategies, communication plans, and support resources to promote understanding and adoption among internal clients.
- Facilitate workshops, demos, and feedback sessions to capture employee and internal client perspectives to enhance program design.
- Contribute to the development and execution of measurement plans that track the effectiveness of OD programs against key success metrics.
- Coordinate data collection, analysis, and reporting, using insights to recommend program improvements and influence strategic decisions.
- Use both quantitative and qualitative feedback to ensure programs are impactful, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
- Contribute to the development of data-driven recommendations that will be presented to senior leaders, framing insights in ways that influence action.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with the HR Advisors and internal clients.
- Support the successful configuration and adoption of Workday modules to support OD programs.
- Research and recommend emerging OD trends, practices, and technologies to keep BDO at the forefront of talent management innovation.
- Leverage digital collaboration tools to increase reach, accessibility, and engagement with OD programs.
- Responsibly leverage firm-approved AI tools to drive efficiency and effectiveness of organizational development solutions.

- You have 4+ years of experience in Organizational Development and/or Human Resources.
- You have 1+ years of practical experience supporting talent and career development programs.
- A certificate or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Organizational Development / Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
- You are familiar with evolving talent management strategies, tactics, and tools.
- You have experience in supporting measurement strategies for programs of intermediate levels of complexity and scope.
- You have strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- You have excellent ability to build relationships and maintain trust with peers and internal clients.
- You have strong critical and analytical thinking skills.
- You have strong client service-orientation skills.
- You have a learning mindset.
- CHRP designation or similar would be considered an asset.
