- Excellent knowledge of communication, promotion, and marketing principles and practices, particularly with strategies using digital media.
- Excellent knowledge of web and social media functions and tools for content publishing, campaign management, monitoring, tracking, and reporting (e.g., CMS, Hootsuite, Google Analytics).
- Good knowledge of business school or higher education marketing and communications practices, particularly in a brand-driven environment.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent project coordination skills.
- Excellent teamwork and relationship management skills.
- Ability to recommend and deliver solutions to marketing and communications challenges.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others in a variety of settings while exercising mature judgment, initiative, professionalism, diplomacy, and tact.
- Proficient in the use of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office applications for producing professional, high quality marketing and communication collateral.
- Experience in photography, preferably with DSLR camera.
- Ability to arrange suitable transportation to work at various campus locations (Vancouver, Burnaby, and Surrey).
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends, as required, for special events.
- An additional 7% pay in lieu of benefits & 8% vacation pay
