The selected candidates will oversee the complete lifecycle of construction projects, ensuring they meet financial, technical, and quality standards. Building and maintaining positive relationships with all project stakeholders will be a key responsibility.Job Location:Kitchener-WaterlooKey Responsibilities:
  • Uphold and enforce company safety policies, coordinating with Safety Managers to meet safety goals.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, financial forecasting, and status reporting.
  • Direct and supervise project administration, engineering staff, and work collaboratively with project superintendents.
  • Implement and enforce construction site rules and procedures, ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and design partners, handling day-to-day communications.
  • Manage subcontractor contracts, project costs, revenue tracking, and ensure adherence to budgets.
  • Conduct internal and client-facing project status reviews and reports.
  • Handle invoicing, progress payments, and financial management tasks.
  • Strategize staffing, personnel development, and ensure compliance with training and regulatory standards.
  • Resolve issues related to labor, staffing, materials, and contract administration.
  • Regularly update stakeholders on significant project developments.
Qualifications:
  • Over 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, and other project/cost management tools.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
