$85,000 + Benefits + Pension + 6% bonusOur manufacturing client, with a corporate head office in North York, ON is seeking a Bilingual HR Generalist - Benefits & Pension (French/English) to join their People & Culture team.
This is a high-impact role supporting both union and non-union employees across multiple business units. The successful candidate will bring broad HR generalist experience, with strong expertise in benefits, pension administration, and disability management - delivering people-centric solutions in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

As a key member of the HR team, you will:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits and pension inquiries (new hires, terminations, retirees, death claims)
- Administer and support pension programs, including member orientation, government filings, monthly reporting, and committee coordination
- Lead annual benefits renewals and re-enrollment cycles
- Manage disability cases end-to-end, including communication, follow-ups, system updates, and payroll coordination
- Coordinate leaves of absence (parental, personal, and other statutory leaves)
- Support union-related matters, including pension and benefits grievances
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external agencies (government bodies, insurers, unions)
- Manage vendor relationships and service level reviews to ensure a strong employee experience
- Provide HR reporting to internal leadership and external agencies as required
- Support Health & Wellness initiatives and cross-functional HR projects
- Identify and implement process improvements within benefits and pension administration
- Ensure accurate record maintenance and assist with year-end reconciliation activities
- Bilingual in English and French (read, verbal, and written)
- Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
- Minimum 3 years of HR experience
- Strong experience in benefits and pension administration
- Experience with disability management (asset)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Experience managing vendor relationships
- Ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholder groups, including union environments
