- Provide direct support to the Company Security Officer in the execution of security governance and oversight responsibilities
- Deliver operational, administrative, and advisory support to ensure internal and external security protocols, standards, and procedures are consistently applied
- Oversee and administer security clearance processes for employees, subcontractors, and third-party partners, as required
- Maintain and manage all records and data required to obtain and sustain security clearances, including highly confidential and sensitive information
- Liaise with relevant government agencies, regulatory bodies, and external authorities on security-related matters
- Develop company- and project-specific tools, materials, and resources to support awareness, training, and understanding of security requirements
- Establish, administer, and maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures to demonstrate and ensure compliance
- Act as a central point of coordination between internal teams and external stakeholders on security matters
- Monitor, interpret, and communicate changes to security policies, directives, and requirements, advising stakeholders on implications and next steps
- Support assessments and determinations related to access level and clearance requirements, aligned with project and contractual obligations
- Demonstrated sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism when handling sensitive information
- Excellent understanding of information security, confidentiality standards, and records management requirements
- Proven ability to interpret and apply project-specific security requirements outlined in contracts and agreement documents
- Prior experience administering security clearances and managing controlled or protected information
- Highly self-directed; able to work independently with minimal day-to-day oversight while driving alignment and understanding across stakeholders
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
