
Manager - Station Engineering (Civil / Structural)

- Lead and manage all civil and structural engineering aspects of construction or infrastructure projects with a focus on team performance and project excellence.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to engineering teams, promoting innovation, quality, and safety.
- Review and approve structural designs, drawings, specifications, and calculations.
- Ensure all works comply with relevant codes, standards (e.g., IEEE, CSA), and safety regulations.
- Supervise and coordinate work of engineers, drafters, and site personnel, fostering a high-performance team environment.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues during construction.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure alignment on scope, schedule, and cost.
- Develop project budgets, schedules, and resource plans for civil/structural elements.
- Manage subcontractors and vendors involved in structural works.
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentoring to junior engineers and team members.
- Ensure timely completion of engineering deliverables and progress reporting.
- Lead risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies related to structural works.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to organizational leadership goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Professional Engineering License (P.Eng.).
- 8–15 years of experience in civil/structural engineering, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ETABS).
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and project management tools.
- In-depth understanding of construction processes, materials, and geotechnical considerations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.

- Office-based with frequent site visits.
- May involve travel depending on project location.
- Must adhere to health and safety protocols on construction sites.
- Experience in utility, Tx - stations projects.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
