- Maintain and improve trade reporting tools to ensure accuracy and usability.
- Analyze distributor programs vs. accruals, track spend against commitments, and evaluate profitability for renewals.
- Oversee program invoicing processes and support requirements for accrual updates.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial insights with business strategy.
- Build and analyze cost models, conduct ROI/sensitivity analyses, and develop pricing strategies.
- Present clear financial recommendations to sales and senior management.
- Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies for successful commercialization.
- Enhance existing analytics and develop new reports and dashboards to provide valuable insights and improve decision-making processes.
- Conduct business analysis of customer/product margins to offer valuable insights for business decisions.
- Implement and refine data visualization tools to better communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
- Regularly review and optimize financial models and methodologies to ensure they remain relevant and accurate.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data within SAP and other financial systems.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and reports to support management decision-making.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- A minimum 1 years of relevant working financial analysis, budgeting, or operational reporting experience.
- Prior experience in a CPG or food manufacturing industry is a plus.
- University Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Math or a related field.
- Strong work ethic and reliability, with a high sense of accountability and persistence in achieving goals.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build positive relationships and manage conflicts constructively.
- High integrity, adhering to ethical standards and taking responsibility for financial actions.
- Proficient in data analytics and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, common formulas), with strong attention to detail.
- Experience in PowerBI and SAP is considered a plus.
- Effective problem-solving and strategic thinking skills, understanding costing models and financial analysis.
- Clear and concise communication skills to convey financial information effectively.
- Ability to commute across multiple manufacturing locations in the GTA for work is required.
