
RFP Program Manager

- Perform RFP intake & review for operational areas including service delivery, service management, service assurance & technical support, project management, billing, reporting, online portals & system integrations, go-to-market readiness, industry standards and certifications, 3rd party suppliers, etc.
- Participate in go/no go discussions; assess the operational complexity & effort; identify non-standard requirements and risks/red flags.
- Attend RFP kick-off & status meetings; oversee operational RFP response requirements, actions, and timelines; coordinate and lead all deeper-dive collaboration meetings with back-office CSO leaders, internal SMEs (e.g. Sales, Solutions, Product Management, IT/Systems, Network Engineering, etc), and external 3rd party suppliers.
- Secure a clear & detailed understanding of the proposed solution in order to connect the operational delivery & day 2 support dots and interdependencies between the client, Rogers, and our 3rd party supplier(s).
- Craft detailed and persuasive responses that showcase Rogers' experience and expertise, instilling confidence in our clients; store and manage responses in Loopio content library for ease of access and future re-use.
- Follow RFPs through various internal opportunity review & deal governance forums; recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies and provide inputs to operational readiness business cases.
- On a case-by-case basis, support Sales for post-RFP submission activities such as follow-up meetings & questions, client shortlist presentations, demos, discovery sessions, and contract negotiations/clarification regarding statements of work, service levels, and timelines.
- Upon award of business, provide warm transfer of RFP opportunity-related documentation, emails, and knowledge to the client-facing Project Manager and/or internal go-to-market Project Manager.
- Gain and grow knowledge of the Rogers & 3rd party supplier products & services; educate Bid Management colleagues to drive greater enablement and autonomy.
- Spearhead special / transformational projects to drive greater speed, scale, and Sales Enablement.
- Post-Secondary degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field of study.
- Technical background in Telecom and/or Information & Communications Technology.
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on Project Management experience.
- PMP certification is required; ITIL or Agile certifications considered an asset.
- Bid Management experience considered a strong asset.
- Bilingual (English/French) considered a strong asset.
- Outstanding oral & written communication skills.
- Advanced PC & software skills: MS Office, Outlook, MS Teams, SharePoint, Project, Copilot, Visio, Adobe Acrobat, ServiceNow, Salesforce.com, Loopio.
- Meticulous organization skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently & effectively under pressure while juggling multiple projects & deliverables.
- Team player with a can do/will do attitude; Makes things happen.
