Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?Reporting to Director, Process Innovation & AI Enablement, the role of Senior Manager, Process Innovation & AI Enablement acts as a process, efficiency and technology subject matter expert, project leader, cultural change agent and process improvement leader who actively uses tools and methodologies in the achievement of RBC Wealth Management’s strategic priorities.What will you do?
  • Lead the governance, identification, development & execution of strategic initiatives to enable the future of operations and deliver on our future of work strategy.
  • Act as a Product Owner in cross functional Technology/Operations Teams, understanding and conveying requirements, providing prioritization direction and ensure successful execution of highest value new features.
  • Support the creation of a more efficient, scalable and digital operating environment, enabling a high level of employee engagement, a superior client/advisor experience, and sustainable value creation for RBC shareholder.
  • Strategic leader who develops relationships across all of WM business, Direct Investing, IT, Risk and other key internal/external business partners to drive solutions and capabilities aligned to strategic priorities in a cost-effective manner.
  • Supports the identification and operationalization of process strategic changes for WMGO including the strategic direction for process and productivity enhancements that are end-to-end in nature, problem resolution, automation and straight through processing solutions, safety and soundness of process and the integration/implementation of the WMGO strategy
  • Determines where improvements can be made in operations practice including ensuring efficiency, cost minimization, right-sourcing, process reengineering, and technology right-sizing and harmonization, focusing on those that will have the biggest impact on the overall future or operations strategy and client experience.
  • Responsible to scope and define benefits and costs across all business lines to ensure consistency across WMGO in Canada, and beyond, where possible.
  • Governs the lifecycle of new solutions from idea creation to implementation and support.
What do you need to succeed?Must-have
  • 5+ years banking industry experience
  • Process Mapping and Optimization - proficiency in process mapping tools and techniques
  • Data Analysis – strong data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret and present data insights
  • Collaboration – strong stakeholder and relationship building skills
  • Strategic Thinking – ability to align processes with business objectives
