Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)

Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.About the EngagementAkkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer with deep expertise in Cognos, Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, and Public-Sector Healthcare IT systems. The successful candidate will support the development, sustainment, AODA compliance, and operational excellence of the Panorama Enhanced Analytic Reports (PEAR) used across public-health ecosystem.ScopeDevelop, test, enhance, and maintain Panorama Enhanced Analytic Reports (PEAR).Support AODA-compliant Cognos report development and upgrades.Enhance PEAR by adding new reporting scopes, features, and data sets.Conduct technical analysis, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.Assignment DeliverablesDeliver 40+ PEAR reports with full development, testing, and documentation.Provide Cognos administration, package creation, dashboards, and Framework Manager artifacts.Produce impact analysis, effort estimates, and technical solution designs.Resolve defects, support incident management, and provide production support.Expertise RequiredMust Have:10+ years of Cognos 11.x report development, testing, Framework Manager, AODA-compliant design.Strong BI, data warehousing, dimensional & relational modeling experience.ETL experience with Informatica (extraction, transformation, loading, tuning).Advanced Oracle 19c, SQL, PL/SQL, JSON, XML, Unix/Linux scripting.Experience with public-sector healthcare systems, and immunization systems.Experience with Integration (HL7/FHIR, APIs, REST services).Version control (SVN/GitLab), Jira, CI/CD, DevOps exposure.Nice to Have:Experience with Java-based systems or related application development.Experience with microservices, mobile solutions, or multi-tier applications.Security ClearanceRequired.ImportantThis is a business-to-business engagement.
