Expected Salary Range: $102,000 - 140,000 per year, commensurate with experience and skillset
Work Arrangement: Minimum 4 days onsiteResponsibilities:
- Serve as a senior strategic advisor to leaders, offering expert guidance on workforce planning, labour relations, and organizational effectiveness.
- Partner with business leaders to identify risks, opportunities, and priorities, translating them into aligned People Experience strategies.
- Lead and advise on complex labour and employee relations matters, including collective agreement interpretation, investigations, disciplinary processes, and dispute resolution.
- Coach and influence leaders to strengthen leadership capability, accountability, and team effectiveness, using data and insights to drive decisions.
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise?wide HR programs, policies, and practices that support organizational culture and long?term workforce needs.
- Collaborate to enhance programs such as performance management, succession planning, DEI initiatives, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
- Act as a change and transformation partner, leading cross?functional initiatives that advance the organization's talent strategy and support ongoing evolution.
- Support corporate and People Experience priorities through participation in cross?functional projects, engagement initiatives, and organizational listening efforts.
- Analyze workforce and engagement data to identify trends, assess program impact, and provide actionable recommendations to leaders.
- Strengthen the People Experience function by mentoring colleagues and offering informal leadership across the team.
- At least 10 years of progressive HR experience at a senior level, including business partnering within a complex, fast?paced, unionized environment.
- CPHR designation and a university degree in Human Resources, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in labour relations, including advising leaders, managing complex issues, and supporting modern, collaborative union partnerships.
- Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of organizational operations, decision?making, and performance drivers.
- Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, balancing strategic thinking with practical, results?oriented execution.
- Exceptional communication and listening skills, with the confidence to influence, challenge, and facilitate discussions at all levels.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with experience leading conversations that drive clarity and alignment.
- Advanced project management and change management capabilities, with the ability to prioritize and adapt in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
