Our client, a leading manufacturing and material handling organization, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting conveyor system operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a safety-focused mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Delta, BC
Shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm
Full-time, 1 year contractWhat's the Job?

Perform maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on conveyor belt systems.
Troubleshoot issues related to motors, drives, and mechanical components.
Replace, install, or rebuild parts including belts, bearings, rollers, motors, and gearboxes.
Conduct routine inspections to identify wear, malfunctions, and potential failures.
Support preventive maintenance schedules and document all work performed.

What's Needed?

1-3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician, Millwright Helper, or similar mechanical role.
Strong knowledge of conveyor systems and material-handling equipment.
Hands-on experience with electric motors, drive systems, and mechanical parts replacement.
Ability to read basic diagrams and follow troubleshooting steps.
Basic understanding of PLC-controlled equipment (inputs/outputs, resetting faults).
