You will serve as the strategic interface between CMC Electronics and our supplier, with the mission of building relationships based on quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.As Manager, Supplier Quality Assurance, your key responsibilities include:
  • Lead a team of specialists that develop and foster relationships with our suppliers
  • Maintain supplier quality policies/clauses and perform vendor development in order to achieve and sustain high levels of supply chain performance
  • Ensure that all supplier non-conformities are thoroughly documented, investigated, and addressed in a timely manner, in accordance with company procedures and quality standards.
  • Establish and manage suppliers audit schedule, perform external audit and train auditors
  • Manage Supply Chain key metrics (Quality, Delivery, performance indicators…) and mitigate risk
  • Investigate new developments relative to material and supplies, and provide recommendations to reduce cost and improve quality, while meeting all requirements
To excel in this role, you should have:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any other relevant field. Equivalent combination of education and experience are also accepted
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, including a minimum four (4) years of related experience in Supplier Quality Management.
  • Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO9001 Quality Management Systems
  • Experience in managing people
  • Valid driver’s license and available to travel (approximately 25% of the time)
  • Good oral and written communication skills (English, French)
  • Masters suite Office, Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.
