- Plan and coordinate delivery schedules, routes and driver assignments
- Act as the main point of contact for customers and internal teams regarding delivery services
- Advise on delivery capabilities, including lead times, product placement and specialized services
- Adjust orders, process changes and ensure accuracy of documentation
- Maintain communication with drivers and track completion of deliveries
- Check stock availability and coordinate with procurement team if necessary
- Process payments, close orders and ensure all documentation is correct
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and loss prevention guidelines
- Manage customer inquiries, provide quotations and resolve delivery issues
- Any other related tasks ensuring the smooth running of sales
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle pressure and multitask
- Flexibility and sense of urgency to deal with the unexpected
