To maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment. Responsible for updating and maintaining manual and computerized reports associated with shipping/receiving.Monday – Thursday 10:00am – 8:30pm$21.82/hrKey Accountabilities:
- Verify quantities of all materials shipped and received
- Documentation of any discrepancies
- Responsible for data entry and maintaining reports on Excel, TMS and Visual systems.
- Provide physical counts of inventory as required.
- Monitor incoming materials and outgoing products as per HACCP and Food Safety and Quality Manual to ensure product safety and quality during receiving, storage and shipping.
- Check and stage necessary materials based on product specifications and age of the product.
- Other duties as assigned.
Hearing protection is mandatory.What you bring to the role:
- 1-2 years experience in a Shipping/Receiving department
- Shunting experience or willingness to be trained
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Must possess or be willing to obtain a valid forklift license
- Ability to organize, plan and report
- Must be a Team player, able to work well in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Strong math and comprehension skills
- AZ license a huge asset
- Experience with using Microsoft Word, and Excel
