We are also the exclusive distributor of Italy's finest Rio Mare, Lavazza and San Benedetto products in Canada.Position SummaryReporting to the Shipping Supervisor, the Shipping / Receiving associate is responsible for the safe handling of all raw materials associated with Sofina Foods. To maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment. Responsible for updating and maintaining manual and computerized reports associated with shipping /receiving.Days / Hours
4 day/week, Monday to Thursday 10am to 8:30pmLocation

- Physical loading and unloading of materials and verify quantities of all materials shipped and received.
- Documents any discrepancies and notifies appropriate departments regarding shortages.
- Complete relevant data entry and documents for shipments.
- Provides physical counts of inventory as required.
- Monitor incoming materials and outgoing products as per HACCP and Food Safety and Quality Manual to ensure product safety and quality during receiving, storage and shipping.
- Check and stage the necessary materials based on product specifications and age of the product.
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Shunting experience or willingness to be trained
- Necessary math skills for reporting
- Experience computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel)
- Ability to organize, plan and report.
- Must be a Team player, able to work well in a team environment.
- Possession of a valid forklift license is a strong asset or ability to acquire a forklift license
