Reporting to the IS&T Solutions Manager, the Teamcenter Administrator is responsible for the Teamcenter PLM system used at BRP. The position requires extensive functional and technical expertise on Teamcenter, excellent communication skills and business acumen. The incumbent will work closely with clients, architects,functional analysts and the infrastructure team.YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:Architect, install, upgrade, and maintain all aspects of a business-critical Teamcenter production environment which encompasses the following areas: Web Tier/Pool Manager, Enterprise Tier, FMS, Teamcenter Security Services, Dispatcher Services, Rich Client, Active Workspace, Teamcenter Integration for CatiaV5 and SolidworkActively monitor and continuously improve the production environment to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalabilityAct as level 2/3 Teamcenter expert to troubleshoot and resolve critical and/or systemic production issuesDeploy BMIDE updates and customizations while ensuring minimal downtimeClearly articulate needs and timelines to other IT staff to get things done in an efficient and autonomous mannerImplement and maintain non-production Teamcenter environments (development, test) with a focus on improving environment spin-up/refreshPerform Teamcenter upgrades and patch deployments in a timely and efficient mannerDirectly interface with the BRP user community to understand and address common problems and pain pointsYOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or similar technical discipline and 3+ years of professional experience with Teamcenter system administration experience; or 5+ years of professional experience with Teamcenter system administration without a degree3+ years professional experience with IT operating systems, networking, and system administration (specifically Windows)Experience with Active WorkspaceExperience with Solr EngineExperience with Jboss/WildflyExperience with IISWorking knowledge of SQL or comparable RDBMSSQL proficiencyComfortable working in a fast paced and demanding environment while wearing multiple hatsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience with the Atlassian suite, most importantly Jira and BitbucketGo getter attitude with excellent interpersonal and influencing skillsSolid communication abilities both written and verbalTeam player that demonstrates enthusiasm and initiativeBusiness savvy to anticipates and exceeds business expectationsForward-thinker looking for breakthrough actions that add valuePursue and achieves the highest standard of ethical conductMeet or exceed financial commitmentsADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Willing to travel on rare occasionsWilling to work after core business hours and on weekendsWilling to be on-call 24/7 to address any business critical issuesACKNOWLEDGING THE POWER OF DIVERSITYBRP is dedicated to nurturing a culture that invites, connects, and propels the ambitions of people of all backgrounds, profiles, beliefs and experiences.
