We offer free parking at our site or if you’d like us to take the wheel, you can use our daily bus service to/from Fort McMurray.This position is classified as a Safety-Sensitive Position. In this role, you will participate in our rotating 14x14 shift schedule which requires you to work fourteen 12-hour day shifts (7am – 7pm), followed by fourteen days off. Then you will be required to work fourteen 12-hour night shifts (7pm – 7am), followed by fourteen days off. Schedules are based on business needs and subject to change. Therefore, we are seeking a Process Operator to join our growing team in Fort McMurray, Alberta. This dynamic role will be instrumental in ensuring safe and efficient plant operations, supporting unit performance, and maintaining operational excellence within our SAGD facility.Your Background
  • An inter-provincial 4th class Power Engineering Certificate valid for Alberta;
  • Minimum of 5 years of plant/field experience, preferably in a SAGD or Upgrader setting;
  • Experience in hands-on support of operations technical, and maintenance work teams;
  • Have the ability to comprehend a situation and identify underlying causes, use knowledge and experience to tackle the issues;
  • Experience in developing standard operating procedures;
  • Strong organization planning and new infrastructure development skills;
  • Must have MS Office skills (Word, Excel and Outlook);
  • Good written and verbal communication;
  • A valid Class 5 driver’s license is required;
  • Must be legally permitted to work in Canada;
