- Lead structured discovery sessions with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and prioritize business requirements.
- Translate complex processes into clear, actionable Salesforce functional specifications.
- Document current-state and future-state process flows and data models.
- Conduct gap analyses against existing Salesforce org configurations; surface risks, constraints, and dependencies early in the project lifecycle.
- Architect end-to-end Salesforce solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and aligned to Salesforce best practices and governor limits—across Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom frameworks.
- Design declarative-first solutions (Flow, validation rules, custom objects, formula fields) and define when custom development (Apex, LWC) is warranted; author functional specs for Developer handoff.
- Produce architecture diagrams, solution design documents, and decision logs that serve as the system of record for implemented changes.
- Advise on integration design between Salesforce and adjacent systems; define data flow requirements and field-level mapping for development teams.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test case libraries covering functional, regression, and edge-case scenarios for all delivered solutions.
- Define and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) strategies; coordinate test execution with business stakeholders and document outcomes.
- Partner with Developers and Administrators to triage defects, confirm root cause, and validate fixes prior to production deployment.
- Establish and maintain testing standards and templates that can be reused across future projects.
- Run project discovery, design, and status meetings; prepare agendas, capture decisions and action items, and drive accountability to timelines.
- Manage stakeholder expectations by clearly communicating scope, timeline, risks, and trade-offs in business-friendly terms.
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the Salesforce delivery team; translate requirements in both directions.
- Coordinate release planning and change management activities; work with Sales Enablement to develop end-user communications and training materials.
- Maintain hands-on familiarity with Salesforce configuration (objects, fields, flows, profiles, permission sets, record types) to credibly challenge and validate solutions proposed by the delivery team.
- Champion data governance standards: field naming conventions, picklist hygiene, duplicate rules, and cross-org data consistency.
- Support audit and compliance activities by documenting configurations, access controls, and data flows relevant to Semtech’s sales processes.
- 5+ years of Salesforce experience, with at least 3 years specifically in a Business Analyst, Solution Architect, or Technical BA capacity.
- Demonstrated experience leading requirements sessions and producing functional specifications, process flows, user stories, and solution design documents.
- Proven track record architecting Salesforce solutions for complex B2B sales environments.
- Strong understanding of Sales and Service Cloud capabilities: lead and opportunity management, pipeline forecasting, approval processes, quoting, and channel/partner structures.
- Experience developing test plans, writing test cases, and running UAT in a Salesforce context.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate cross-functional project meetings, drive decisions, and manage stakeholder alignment across business and technical teams.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce configuration (flows, validation rules, custom objects, profiles, permission sets) sufficient to evaluate feasibility and review delivered solutions.
- Comfortable writing SOQL queries to investigate data, validate solutions, and support ad hoc analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to break down ambiguous business problems into structured, implementable platform requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; skilled at translating between business language and technical Salesforce concepts for both audiences.
- Highly organized and self-directed; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced global technology company.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio or equivalent) for documentation, process mapping, and stakeholder presentations.

- Experience in the semiconductor, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing industry; familiarity with semiconductor sales concepts such as design registrations, design wins, distributor sell-through reporting, and manufacturer representative channel structures.
- Background supporting a global, multi-tier B2B channel model.
- Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud / partner community portals, including portal architecture, licensing models, and partner-facing process design.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Apex and Lightning Web Components at a functional specification level—able to write clear developer requirements without necessarily coding.
- Exposure to Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Cloud, or configure-price-quote processes in a technical sales environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
