- Structure creative financing solutions: Assess business risk and recommend tailored loan structures, including mezzanine, venture debt and convertible instruments
- Collaborate across teams: Work closely with Senior Relationship Managers and Credit to co-develop innovative, risk-aligned financing strategies
- Support strategic growth: Help build and shape a new team focused on delivering impactful capital solutions to high-growth clients
- Drive deal execution: Conduct research, prepare credit submissions and lead negotiations for complex lending opportunities
- Ensure compliance and monitoring: Complete account reviews, eligibility rulings and compliance checks to maintain portfolio integrity
- A strategic thinker with a deep understanding of tailored financing tools and their application in growth-stage businesses
- A collaborative leader who thrives in cross-functional environments and can build trust across Sales, Credit and external stakeholders
- A creative problem-solver who can structure non-traditional lending solutions that balance innovation and risk
- An effective communicator who can navigate challenging negotiations and articulate complex financial strategies
- A bachelor’s degree and at least six years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
- A graduate degree is an asset
- Experience working with complex, high-growth companies, particularly with the perspective of private equity or venture capital
- Strong aptitude for advanced credit analysis, risk mitigation and strategic lending
