Full-Cycle Accounting & Financial ReportingOversee full-cycle accounting, including GL review, coding, and bank/credit card reconciliationsLead month-end close, including GST/HST filings and working papersPrepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statementsManage intercompany transactions and reconciliations across multiple entitiesEnsure accuracy and integrity of financial records in compliance with accounting standardsSupport year-end audit, including audit schedules, documentation, and auditor inquiriesTeam Support & LeadershipProvide guidance, training, and review of work for junior accounting staffCollaborate with the Controller on financial reporting and special projectsProcess ImprovementIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracyStay current with CPA standards, ASPE/IFRS, and industry best practicesWhat you must have:CPA designation (required)Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field3–5+ years of experience in a Senior Accountant or similar roleExperience with full-cycle accounting, month-end, and audit preparationStrong experience with intercompany accounting and multi-entity structuresExperience supervising or mentoring junior staffProficiency with ERP/accounting systems and advanced ExcelStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentConstruction or real estate industry experience is an assetSalary/Rate Range: $80,000 – $95,000Thank you for your interest in this opportunity.
