We’re looking for a remote Director of Business Development in the Hospitality & Professional services industry.Our client is a fast-growing organization known for delivering strategic solutions that drive long-term value for clients. The Director of Business Development will cover the Ontario territory identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role focused on building client relationships, driving revenue growth, and supporting strategic initiatives.Director of Business Development responsibilities:Research and identify new business opportunities through market analysis and lead generationDevelop customized proposals, presentations, and sales strategies that align with client needsBuild and manage senior-level relationships within client organizations, including C-suite stakeholdersCollaborate with internal teams to ensure client solutions meet expectations and align with strategic goalsMaintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and sales activities in CRM systemThe successful candidate has:5+ years of experience in a business development or “hunter” sales role - ideally managing complex long sales cycles.A strong entrepreneurial mindset with a proven track record of delivering sales resultsWillingness to adopt and execute a proven sales model while applying their own sales acumenExperience managing sales in sectors such as senior living, retirement, or hotel/hospitalityStrong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with excellent time managementProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM toolsAbility to travel approximately 30% of the timeCompensation and benefits:The discussed salary range is $120,000 – $130,000 depending on experience, plus uncapped commissions. 200K+ OTE.Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be consideredComprehensive benefits packageFlexible, fully remote work environmentOpportunities for growth within a supportive and high-performing teamCandidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
