Our work environments are designed with specific themes in mind to achieve a consistent global identity that reflects our values: simplicity, collaboration, elements of nature and symmetry.Position Details: The Operations Modernization Manager is responsible for driving process automation and AI-enabled transformation across core business operations, including funding, operations support, default management, and remarketing. This role identifies inefficiencies and leads the implementation of solutions using RPA, OCR, AI and other emerging technologies to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability. The incumbent will also oversee insourcing and outsourcing transitions, ensuring seamless execution through structured planning, risk management, and cross-functional coordination. Additionally, they will lead AI pilot initiatives, from opportunity assessment to scaled deployment, building a roadmap for long-term impact and innovation. The role will work in close collaboration with cross functional Operations leaders, IT and vendorsDuties & Responsibilities:1. Operations Automation & Process Transformation
  • Identify manual pain points across the operations lifecycle (funding, operations support, default management, remarketing) and introduce technology-driven enhancements (RPA, OCR, AI).
  • Establish and monitor key success metrics (processing time, automation rate, cost savings) to measure and report on impact.
  • Embed automated quality checks to support scalability.
2. Outsourcing & Insourcing Initiatives
  • Lead seamless transitions of insourcing and outsourcing activities across operations.
  • Develop and execute transition plans, establish governance and risk frameworks, and act as the central liaison with vendors and business partners.
  • Ensure operational readiness through structured knowledge transfer (training, documentation, shadowing).
3. AI Exploration & Pilot Programs
  • Identify opportunities for AI-enabled transformation across operations.
  • Design, test, and roll out proofs of concept with predefined success metrics.
  • Manage phased rollouts, refine models, and build a roadmap for scaled deployment and integration.
QualificationsWork Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience in operations management, business transformation, or process improvement roles.
  • Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing OCR, AI and/or RPA tools to enhance productivity or decision-making
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Knowledge of service delivery models and best practices in transition management.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Proven ability to monitor, report on, and achieve KPIs.
  • Demonstrated resilience in challenging situations with sound decision-making skills.
  • Advanced PC skills: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Ability to write, optimize, and execute intermediate to advanced SQL queries to validate data, identify inconsistencies, and uncover automation opportunities.
