Pay: $23-$25 per hour (based on experience)
Hours:
- Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Conduct receiving and final inspections on machined components using manual tools, gauges, and fixtures.
- Verify incoming materials and finished parts meet technical specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and 3D models to confirm dimensional accuracy.
- Review material certificates and test reports for compliance.
- Validate certificates of conformance from vendors.
- Identify and segregate non-conforming materials.
- Document and assist with Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) as directed.
- Complete First Article Inspection reports as required.
- Follow the Quality Management System (QMS) and company procedures.
- Minimum 5 years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing.
- Training or certification in mechanical inspection, quality control, or related fields is an asset.
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 standards.
- Strong computer skills, including spreadsheets, word processing, and ERP systems.
- Experience in aerospace or precision machining is preferred.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and in a team environment.
